In brief this week: im Boutique, DVF, DKNY

Remember Jean Paul Gaultier's uber-sexy capsule collection for La Perla? We're excited to find out today that im boutique will be exclusively stocking the collection in Australia, at selected stores from November 2010.

im has also announced two new locations: Sydney CBD will see the opening of im on level three in Westfield in late October, while Melbourne will see the opening of im's first concession boutique in Melbourne Myer in November. Visit imboutique.com.au.




DVF Australian flagship
In other store opening news, Diane von Furstenberg has announced the opening of her first DVF flagship boutique in Australia - and once again Sydney has pipped Melbourne to the post. The store, which will open in the Westfield Sydney Shopping Centre, will be the thirty-seventh freestanding boutique for DVF, and the first ever in Australia. Visit DVF.com.

DKNY special event - Madison Avenue
We love events that combine fashion and a great cause. DKNY & the National MS Society are hosting a special event at the DKNY Madison Avenue store next Thursday, September 30th celebrating the critically acclaimed memoir Awkward Bitch, My Life with MS by author Marlo Donato Parmelee. As well as a book reading from Marlo, Customers will receive a 10% discount on the their DKNY purchases and DKNY will donate 10% of the evening's proceeds to the National MS Society. Details below.
